Hello, Friends! My name is Blake. All my life I have had an affinity for anything outdoors. One of my earliest memories in the mountains is straight-lining down the runs as my father called after me to make turns; I was about 5 years old. Ever since then my love has only grown for skiing and adventure. I picked up my first camera at the age of 18 and my love affair with photography began. Combining my two passions, I brought my camera with me to the slopes and started capturing all things skiing. One of these photographs was featured in the Associated Press, and was later picked up by the New York Times.
During college I worked for the George-Anne, the university newspaper. From 2017 to 2019, I photographed various projects for The George-Anne—One of which I received an award for Best Sports Photograph from the Georgia College Press Association. Amid shooting numerous outdoor sporting events, I also photograph remote landscapes as well as candid and studio portraits. In addition to photography, I am also a skilled editor that is very familiar using Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects. In the spring of 2019 I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Multimedia Film and Production.
